
Chris Crosgrove, BFAE, MM, AAS, CRI, CPE
Chris Crosgrove is currently the Manager of Recruiting and Training for Caption Colorado, LLC. He has been an on-air captioner for twelve years, and has trained captioners for nine years. He holds an AAS from the Denver Academy of Court Reporting, Denver, Colorado, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Education from Wayne State College, Wayne, Nebraska, and a Master of Music from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He taught music in the public schools for three years and was the head of the Court Reporting departments at Lincoln School of Commerce, Lincoln, Nebraska, and at Bakersfield College, Bakersfield, California. He has written online captioning courses for Stenograph University Online and Caption Colorado. He currently serves on the advisory boards for two reporting schools and a committee for the National Verbatim Reporters Association. He has conducted seminars in Denver, Seattle, St. Louis, Toronto, Calgary, Des Moines, Toronto, and other locations, as well as been a featured speaker at the NCRA annual convention and several state court reporting organizations. He currently resides in Parker, Colorado, with his wife and two children.
